The Nap Mat Search

Like I said previously, searching for nap mats for your little one isn't quite as easy as I expected it to be. There is a broad spectrum of pricing and quality for these things and, being as picky as I am, I had a few criteria:

1) It had to match with his other school items. Until the day when he finally will realize that he wants to choose his own items, I will match his gear. I do it for myself, so, naturally, I'll do it for him as well!

2) No Disney or character items. Nothing wrong at all with them - just not my style. Since his backpack and lunchbox are of an animal theme, I wasn't ruling animal nap mats out. I also fully realize that, just like #1 above, in little time he will probably only want things that are character related so until he can choose for himself, this is how it'll be.

3) Must be of a decent quality. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I also didn't want to buy a POS that I'll end up replacing in no time, thus spending the same amount of money that I would have if I'd gone with the quality item during the first go-round.

4) Preferably Amazon Prime eligible. This was definitely not a deal breaker, but my preference is always to go the Amazon route if I can because it's free shipping and, usually, great pricing.

So, with all of that being said, here were the options that I found online:

And, finally, the winner. While I chose a nap mat that had reviews which stated it didn't come with any padding, I was ok with this because the MDO that HUT will attend provides mats for them to sleep on, so I really just wanted a good cover/blanket/pillow combo for him to lay on top. Plus I loved how this one easily folded up, attached to the mat so the blanket wouldn't slide around and provided a small pocket for him to place his lovey (this blanket ) in.

Anyone else have any good resources for nap mats?
