Ellie's Newborn Photo Sesh

The minute I found out that I was pregnant, I knew that a photo session was going to be booked for this little lady. We adored our photos from HUT's newborn session and there was no way that we weren't going to do the same for our Ellie. This time around, though, we did a little mix of a newborn session with a lifestyle session so that we could get some great pics of all four of us together.

After months of searching, I just happened to come across Brittney Davis Photography - turns out that Brittney's husband went to my elementary school and I had seen the newborn photos she did of the twins of another elementary school classmate of mine. I shot her a quick Facebook message and we had our session booked in no time.

Brittney was a huge pleasure to work with - very patient with the fact that Ellie refused to sleep (kind of necessary for a NB shoot), HUT was a bit all over the place and I'm pretty sure that Brittney was peed on by our new baby girl a few times during the shoot.

Yesterday we received the disc of images and I'm totally in love. If you are a friend on Facebook, then you have seen these. I posted a teaser on Instagram yesterday as well. If you're in the Dallas area and looking for a family photographer - call Brittney. She also does birth photography as well, which I wish I had known beforehand and I would have booked her for that as well!

Here are some of my favorites...

Ellie's Accessories:
Swaddle Blankets by Basic Grey

  3. These are stunning! And now I'm thinking I'm a dummy for planning to do my own newborn photos. Yes, it will save us some money, but I'll hate the way I look and I'll be exhausted and the pictures of you with her and the siblings together are something you can never ever redo. Love love love!
