Bzzzing About COVERGIRL & Olay

The days of spending massive amounts of my cashflow on things like frequent hair appointments and nice cosmetics are a thing of the past, so when I was offered to try out the new COVERGIRL & Olay foundation and powder, I immediately took Bzz Agent up on their offer.

You see, I've been toying around with L'Oreal True Match foundation for a while, and even gave the L'Oreal BB Cream a spin, but I wasn't in love with either of these drugstore makeup purchases. I used to be a loyal MAC user and still occasionally splurge on their items, but considering the fact that I don't wear makeup on a daily basis anymore and I try to spend wisely, I was just kind of caught in a rut.

So when we returned from our trip to Cali, I was happy to find a package containing these items inside:

COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder Light Medium 340, 0.39 Oz

COVERGIRL and Olay Tonerehab 2-In-1 Foundation, Classic Ivory 110, 1 Fluid Ounce

Here's what they say about the products:

Science and beauty
Skincare and foundation. Indulgence and affordability. COVERGIRL and Olay. Isn't it great when your favorite things come together to help you look your best? COVERGIRL and Olay have teamed up again, bringing you COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder, to provide coverage for ageless, radiant looking skin, just in time for the peak of summer.

Give your skin a second chance
COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation is no ordinary make-up. Thanks to COVERGIRL & Olay, it smoothes the appearance of rough surfaces and gives your skin a radiant finish. COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation also contains known skin conditioning ingredients to hydrate your skin and help improve skin tone over time. Neat, huh?

Perfect your look
You can't turn back the clock on aging, but you can reduce the signs. Just one pump of new COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation helps instantly cover discolorations, fine lines and wrinkles. And finishing your look with a soft layer of COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder will help brighten your skin tone.

Here's what I say about the products:

I seriously see myself purchasing more of this foundation (it runs about $11 retail) once I run out of this tube. The pressed powder (runs about $9 retail) I might buy again for touch-ups but I really haven't had the need to do that much when I've worn this foundation. I typically used a loose powder in the morning over my foundation, so I'll continue to do that with whatever I have lying around.

Since I've had HUT, I've had a bit of rosacea on my cheeks and this foundation covers it perfectly - not to mention that I don't feel like I'm wearing a gallon of makeup (which was sometimes the issue with the L'Oreal True Match). I was also shocked at how well the color that was sent to me (Classic Ivory) matched my skin tone. I just use a sponge to apply, and then put the loose powder on top. I take the compact with me in the diaper bag for on the go.

Unfortunately, I wasn't given samples to share with the public, but I was given coupons. Because I want to share with everyone, I'm happy to mail the $2 off coupon to anyone who might like to give these products a try. Just leave a comment below with your email - I'll update this post once I've run out of the coupons!

  2. I'm also a MAC user but man....I don't know how I'm going to afford it now that our family is growing. :/ I am going to be trying to replace it with a drugstore brand soon, so I'll gladly take the coupons! wishfullayla@gmail.com
