ABC Family - I Never Knew What I Was Missing...

So this week we had my niece come over and spent the night for the first time. While HUT usually goes to bed around 8:30pm, she was on a mission to stay up late. Even though I could tell that she was getting tired, she wanted to stay up, so I suggested we have a little slumber party in my bed and find something good to watch on the tv (the U's baseball game was not working for either of us).

So, after perusing the regular channels and quite a bit of the On Demand, we settled on a series on the ABC Family channel. I've always heard that some of their other programs were pretty darn good, so I decided to give this show a whirl...

While my niece didn't make it five minutes into the program, I ended up watching nearly all of the episodes that were available On Demand. This show is addicting! I believe that it was created by the same people who did Gilmore Girls and the plot line is, although a bit predictable, very entertaining.

It's got the perfect combination of adult issues, albeit it a bit unbelievable, and teenage bitchy drama that sucks me right in.

So are there any other series on this channel that I'm missing out on? Summer programming is leaving me with little to watch, so I'm all about finding new shows On Demand. Please note that I spent an entire summer obsessed with Degrassi - when I was 25. So I'm never beneath the teenage dramas on tv. Ever.
