Friday Rambles

Our house, particularly our bedroom, looks like a major disaster area as I try to get us all packed for our trip next week. And sell our old mattress. And bathe our stinky dogs. And have my car looked at by the insurance guy (long story, but it looks like I need a new front bumper). And get our house ready for the sitter. Oh, and did I mention pack for SEVEN days away from home with a toddler?

Anywho.

I took full advantage of my Easter present on Monday and chopped over 6 inches off of my hair. I had been wavering as to whether or not to chop it off and I'm so happy that I did. It is so much easier and efficient to get ready, which is key with a child that refuses to nap. Ever. Seriously.

{ I will never, ever, ever in my entire life be comfortable taking self portraits. Period. }

And, for once in my life, I'm preferring this hairdo curled as opposed to straight. Which takes me no time because it's so short. It's a fun change of pace for me!

Lastly, I took the rec of Kate at The Small Things Blog and purchased these two badboys from Ebay for a fraction of the price of the J. Crew necklaces.

I can't wait to try them out next week with my beach attire.
